Hello everybody
I hope you are all safe and well.
Work has slowed a little, so I feel less frazzled, and have managed to sew a little in the evenings. I have actually completed one of the side edging to the Seasonal Quilt.

So this edging will go along the side of the quilt at the top of the previous photo, and then just need to finish one for the opposite end. The side (to the right of the previous photo) just needs 8 half hexagons added to its border and then it will be complete. Therefore, I may do a small happy dance as the top part of the quilt will be finished.
We are a small group of like minded stitches who encourage one another with their individual projects, so please pop along to see the other members craft work.

must feel good to have finally got to the border stage!

I made a cot quilt for my son when he was born doing these lovely hand stitched hexagons. That was almost 49 years ago now and i would love to do another one. Maybe when all these UFOs are finished. x
