Hello Everyone
I have been sewing some Christmas Projects, using the leftover fabric from my Christmas Quilt and a little bit from the quilting side of the Red Work Basket Quilt.
Here is my table topper – I quilted around the squares of the snowmen and around the star shape. I also went around the border twice.

This is the first time that I have done the binding the traditional way and I was beyond happy at how my corners turned out. You know small things and all that!
and here is the Table Runner – the binding is from the Red Work Quilt fabric.

This looks a little uneven at the bottom but I think it is just the photo.
Not much material left now – just some scraps – brilliant!
Well once again good wishes for the season.

Hello Everybody
Hope you are all well and enjoying the build up to the big day (if you are celebrating).
I finally feel organised – and have managed to sew a few strands on my Redwork Quilt. It is amazing how guilty I feel when not perfoming so well.
Here is where I was last time – November 10th I think…

And here is my progress

Hopefully I will finish this by the New Year.
Well that is me and I would just like to say thank you to you all for the support and warmth I feel from my fellow crafters. Hope you all have holidays filled with joy and laughter.
Love Daisy
PS my next blog shows what caused the hold up before Christmas.

Hello Everyone
Well the Christmas Season is well on its way. I have not been so organised this year, however I have sorted things out now and visiting arrangements have been made and kept so far. All gifts are wrapped and cards are written. In amongst all that I have continued to sew little bit on my Spring stitching.
Here is my last post

And here is my small progress…..

The blue bells are basically done now. I hope to finish this by the new year – a touch optimistic but would like to start something new for the New Year.
Talking of which here is my merry wishes and good cheer for the New Year. If you are celebrating, take care and stay safe. Bye for now
Daisy

I have been sewing but mainly finishing Christmas things.
Hopefully next time I will do better, however, please pop along to the other members of our group to see their progress.

Hello Everybody
We are in the throes of Storm Bert at the moment (who names these storms), and it is the perfect time to hunker down and sew. I have made some progress on my Spring sewing project so here is where I was last time ….

Here is my progress.

As you can see I have scrolled up and stitched the blue bells.
That’s all from me but grab a cuppa and peruse the other members sites to see their progress.

Hello Everyone
Hope everyone is well. I have been busy sewing and have made a good start on my September Block for my Basket Quilt by Dandelion Designs. All of the other patchwork pieces are sewn together for this quilt, it is just doing the remaining red work designs. I don’t think that I will be finished before this Christmas but no rush.
Here is my start …..

This basket reminds me of two things. Going to a farm where scrumpy (rough cider) was being made. The farm actually had a private drinking room (members only club). My very first cider drink had when I was on holiday in Cornwall with my family and celebrating my 18th birthday. (I fell down the steps in the restaurant) slighty tipsy. He! He!
Well enough of that, lets grab a brew and visit the other members who are all busy sewing and creating there own special projects.
Bye for now,
Daisy

Hello Everyone
I have to admit these past three weeks have crept up on me and I have not done a single stitch on my Spring Project, I have been sewing but on Christmas related projects.
So my apologies on this occasion and must do better next time.

Hello Everyone
I have achieved quite a lot of sewing on this project. I was determined to finish this basket and managed to complete it in time for this update. I have put the hoop around next basket to be done and think this one might be quicker.
Here is where I was last time …..

Here is my progress …..

And here is the new basket to be sewn …

Well that is all from me this time, lets peruse the success of the other members who all work on individual projects.

Hello everyone
Three weeks have passed by very fast again and unfortunately I have been quite ill – firstly a dose of salmonella poisoning and then caught the cold my husband had previously. Utterly drained!
I have in the past few days put some stitches in my Spring Stitchery. So here is where I was last time ….

And this is my progress …

Well that is all for me, so lets pop along to see what progress the other members have achieved.
