Wow! that was exhausting just thinking about all the projects I have on the go. Perhaps I should try and finish most of these rather than start another project. That is not a promise because like so many of my fellow crafters we like starting new projects.
Well hope everyone had an enjoyable, loving Christmas and now I wish you a Happy New Year filled with joy, hope and good health.
I’ve been a little quiet on the blog lately apart from the two SAL that I participate in but today is about another finished top.
I had put this to one side earlier in the year and promised myself to finish before this Christmas and this in one promise I have kept. So here are some photos. It is only the top (yes another one – that makes 10), but I have just purchased some more wadding and I can use some music print as the back that I had originally bought to complete the Jazz Quilt – slightly over-estimated the quantity at the time. However, it will now complete this quilt.
Quilt top photos
It is not sewn totally together in this photo but I have done it now.
oops – bit blurry – sorry!
Well that is all for now.
I wish you all the happiness of the Holidays and a very Happy New Year!
I have not done too much sewing with regard to this project, but here is where I was last time
Here is my progress
I have also started making the Christmas/December Block – are not the snowmen cute?
Well that is all for now
Just to wish everybody a Wonderful Christmas (Holiday) Time and a prosperous and Happy New Year..
Love
Daisy
This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another. If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below. Kathy, Margaret, Deb, Nanette, Sharon, Karrin, Daisy, and Connie
I am not panicking, slightly smug that I have the presents already wrapped and we have put the decorations up and the lights on the tree outside. Having just nosed out the window I can see our neighbour has just attached all the lights to the front of his house. It will look pretty and inviting. His children will enjoy it!
Well on the sewing front I have been quite successful and completed the last vignette (is that the right word, maybe not)? Also added in the border and half stitched the border design in the centre.
So here is where I was last time …..
Here is my progress ….
Hopefully during our longer break I will get to start on the centre panel. I look forward to many new projects and finishing old ones when we meet up again on the 14th January 2024.
So A Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays and a Wonderful New Year to Everybody.
Despite having to tend to the garden, particularly cropping some of our tree branches , I have managed to finish the March red work pattern and have started on the April pattern. I have to admit it was a bit of a push to get the March one finished as it seemed to go on forever. Motivation has returned!
Here is where I was last time ….. (I need to iron this!)
Here is my progress …..
Again I like the different baskets. I put this as April as we all need a Spring Clean. What do you think is the name obscured on the bottle? Or is it just made up?
Bye for now
Daisy

Hope all is well. I have done loads of stitching, particularly on my Fruit of Plenty. I had to work out the placement for the October Block as I have altered it from the actual design as this has now become a homage to the death of our Queen.
Here is where I was ……..
Here is my progress ….
When I have completed this corner it is just the middle section to do. I have chosen which house I will insert in the diagram as there were several choices made available by the designer.
Well that is all for now!
Please take a peek at the other members of our group to see how they have progressed.
Well I have been stitching quite a bit on my March Redwork Block as well as starting putting together the October Block. One thing is for certain this quilt project will not be ready for this Christmas but maybe next year!
Anyhow, this is where I was last time…..
here is my progress this time ….
I am sure it is taking me longer this time to complete the block, their seems more to it than last time.
Here is the October colours
Well that is me, please take a moment to catch up on the other members progress.
Bye

I have managed quite a bit on my Modern Folk Embroidery design Fruits of Plenty. I shall be ready to move onto the next section within the next three weeks. So here is where I was last time …
Here is my progress …
Well that is me but grab a cuppa and please peruse the other members projects. We are a group of people who all work on their own individual projects and post on the blog every three weeks.
I love to share my Quilting projects with other Quilters. My goal is to share my progress on projects that I am working on. I would love for you to follow along with me during my endeavors. I hope you enjoy watching me tackle new techniques and projects. Hopefully you can learn from my "hiccups" and mistakes and make your journey easier.
