Hello Everyone
Hope you are well, sorry to see Helen go and see you again soon.
(Skip next paragraph if you just want to see photos).
I have struggled these past three weeks to get some sewing done on my chosen project. My sewing time has been taken up visiting my mum in hospital as she has recently been diagnosed with Bowel Cancer and has been rushed in urgently to have the tumour removed. The doctor is optimistic in the fact of removing everything but I’m sure they might need to do another scan to check. So at present no chemo or radiotherapy. Back home now and visiting her there. My two brothers live at home so that takes some of the stress away- they can cook and clean ( mum made sure we could all look after ourselves from an early age), and I provide the emotional support and a woman’s touch. Lots of cuddles and tears needed in the beginning but she is fighting head-on. Feeling a little stretched at the moment, as my husband who is older than me also needs my help in doing things around the garden, which due to the start of nicer weather has sprung into life. What a curveball !!
Sorry – onto sewing subject, here is where I was last time ….

Here is my small progress …

Please take a peek at the other members have achieved on their individual projects.
Take care
Daisy

Hi Daisy — sending you and your family love and hugs and support. You’ll stitch more on this lovely project when you can, when it brings you peace, when it keeps your mind busy. Hang in there.

So sorry to hear your mum is poorly. I know you’ll all rally round but I understand how exhausting these times can be. It might be a bit easier now she is home and in her own space for recovery.

Sorry to hear about your mom’s health, I do hope that surgery was a success and that she can rest and recover at home thanks to her lovely Entourage. You’ve made good progress nonetheless and do hope to see more of that in future updates
