My commiserations on your loss Sharon and in your grieving please take comfort in knowing that you done a wonderful job caring totally for your dear husband.

I have been busy sewing my black work (design by The Steady Thread) and I am now 2/3rds of the way through and I am pleased with the way it is looking.
Here is where I was last time …..
Here is my progress – A rose in a pot and some more basic side border.
I am not playing a guessing game for the next item in this design, SPOILER ……
.it is a ghost within an embroidery hoop and will probably sew up quite quickly. Also I need to sew the elaborate doily that the crystal ball is placed on which might take more time. Hopefully life is not going to get in the way too much and I can enjoy some peaceful sewing time.
