Due to the inclement weather we are experiencing in the UK at the moment it lends that a lot of sewing can be done, as we cannot get outside to do various jobs in the garden. No idle hands at this party.
I have been sewing the “Jane Austen Quilt” and she is now close to a finished top. I have the backing fabric ready and some batting so will be able to sandwich her together once I have removed all of the paper pieces – which is always the laborious job. Any how here is a photo of the top with the two side panels sewn together and the middle section awaiting to be sewn to each other.
Sorry the edges and top get cuf off but I’m quite short and this is the best I can do whilst it is laid out on the bed.
That’s it for now – thanks for stopping by.

love all the diamonds
Yes I fancied a change from squares. I hope that I’ve done the original layout some sort of justice. That I haven’t trashed it!
Oh that’s going to be a pretty!
